Michela Centon

Michela is an Italian contemporary dancer and performer. She dedicated many years of her education to studying Urban dances, culminating in her graduation from the NOHA Hip Hop school at the age of 17. In 2018, she decided to focus her studies on contemporary dance, enrolling in the BA program at ADT (IT), where she had the opportunity to work as a freelance dancer with the Iuvenis Danza Company (IT). Afterwards, in 2022, she participated in the Specific Program (IT) for one year. From September 2023, she is a member of the SUB.LAB.PRO Ensemble in Budapest (HU).

Guided by groove as the foundation of every movement, as it provides pure driving energy, she is highly interested in experimenting with opposites and pushing beyond physical limits, as they can create a dance without filters, inviting the audience to traverse the spectrum of human emotions. She believes that movement and visual arts, to which she is deeply connected, can delve into the depths of the soul and lay bare the most profound human experiences, illuminating hidden corners of humanity and forging connections that transcend time and space.”
