Danaë Suteau
Danaë is a French dancer, performer, teacher and actress. She started her dance education at four years old in a small village next to Bordeaux and never stopped moving since then. She first did jazz and ballet and discovered contemporary dance around the age of 10. At this moment, she also started participating in competitions every year, in groups as well as solos.
It’s at this moment that she developed a real taste for the stage and when dancing appeared as her preferred way of communicating.
After graduating high school, she had several professional opportunities as a contemporary dancer (Âmeka cie, EXTRA/upsidedown project) that confirmed her will to jump into this artistic world for real.
In 2021, she obtained her state diploma as a contemporary dance teacher.
Right after, she started working on multiple projects with : FluO cie in “Every drop of my blood”, Christine Hassid Project in “Souffles” (2021), “N’ayez pas peur” (2021) and “Chopin” (2024), Kaminari cie in “En vol” (2023), Wild for live performances (2024/2025), Koimété cie in “SP98” (2024/2025).
At the same time, she teaches contemporary dance to many different audiences like conservatory classes, to professional dancers, to kindergarten classes, or even to strangers in the street.
Always questioning and seeking to discover herself more deeply, she wanted to get out of her comfort zone and decided to join the SUB.LAB.PRO in September 2025.
